Pacific Northwest travel and tourism guides, 1917
Scope and Contents
Pamphlets in the collection include statewide, regional, county and city brochures as well as brochures for specific places such as museums, historic sites and more. They provide details on popular sightseeing locations as well as the history and economic details of the locale. Many of the brochures and booklets created by railroad companies also include details on sites outside the Pacific Northwest as well since they cover attractions along the full railroad line. The Seattle Public Library collected the pamphlets over many decades. They range in date from the early 1900s to the 1980s.
