Mt. Zion Data Collection and Display Form, 1993 March 31

This collection includes materials related to the McKinney family and Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The collection is divided into series including biographical materials for Samuel and Louise McKinney, as well as Mt. Zion annual reports, event ephemera, memorial service programs, property history documents and landmark status applications, periodicals such as the Church’s Zionews, and photographs. The bulk of the original materials are from the 1980s through 2010s. Photocopies and printouts of older materials such as family photographs are also included. Correspondence between Samuel McKinney and Martin Luther King, Jr. as well as photographs are of particular note.
